How Industrial Laser Cleaning Works
Industrial laser cleaning uses short, high-energy laser pulses to selectively remove surface contaminants such as rust, coatings, oxides and residues. The laser energy is absorbed by the unwanted layer, causing it to vaporise or detach, while the underlying material remains unaffected. Because the process is non-contact and precisely controlled, laser cleaning is ideal for applications where traditional abrasive or chemical methods would cause damage or excessive wear.
